Pamplona
Pamplona is a charming city in northern Spain, in the region of Navarre, close to the Pyrenees. It is home to around 200 thousand people. The city is famous for the annual San Fermin festival, with its celebrated running of the bulls. The historic centre, with the cathedral of Santa Maria la Real and picturesque streets, is well worth exploring. The climate in Pamplona is temperate, with mild winters and warm summers. The best time to visit is spring and summer, when the city is full of life.
